3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Medium copper-orange color. 1/2"foam that slowly erodes. Hoppy, tinges of orange, faint floral hints. Lightly bitter in taste. Smooth, even body and tangy aftertaste. Solid, not spectacular.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUN 23, 2013 Bottle. Dark orange amber body. Very nice, complex hop nose, with fruit cocktail and grapefruit notes mixed with a resinous pine note. Good combination. Cascade dry hops are all over this one. Palate is richly bitter, but not assertive or corrosive. Chewy and resiny flavor, with some grapefruit acidity and flavor, and a bready, malt note hidden as well. Rich, chewy, sticky, fruity, but not exactly grassy. A wonderful IPA, especially when fresh.

Thanks to realale420, I was able to enjoy this. Amber color with off-white head. Hoppy/citrus nose, flavor is hops, with nice roasted malt balance that leads into that BIG hoppy finish.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Amazing IPA! At first I was skeptical of this beer because I thought the label was awfully gaudy. big hops aroma and beautifully balanced hops and malts. Thick and lush but not too big. Perfect colorful orange body with a gentle head and right in the perfect range for alcohol. Simcoe hop fruitness and Columbus hop piquancy. Tastes like French-kissing God.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz. bottle on 3/17/07 in Colorado. Pours a clear gold with a large white head. Huge fresh hop aroma of citrus and spruce that beckons. Mouthfeel is resinous with a medium body and carbonation. Bitterness is front and center, not necessarily bad, but perhaps a little unbalanced in that regard. Still, this is a very enjoyable IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
pours a light hazy amber with a nice foaming head. The aroma is screeming hops... citrus and fresh green, and some fruitiness. flovor is a not as hoppy as it smells, and is held together well with earty malt.

Bottle. Simcoe, i love that hop, it is not perfume like and plastic like, and not harsh just a good hop.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: MAY 17, 2007 Tap at Hamiltonís, San Diego. Pale amber coloured beer with a thin lingering white head. Just a massive hoppy aroma explodes from this. I can smell the hops before the bartender even put it in front of me. Fresh pine, mango, and tangerine hops along with a touch of resinousness that has my mouth watering the minute it hits my nose. A Simcoe hop bomb. Intensely fresh flavour with the barest hint of malt flavour just serving as a backing bit of sweetness for all the juicy hops. Excellent bitterness with a touch of chewy, tooth coating hop resins. Awesome brew.

[Bottle from Beermouth tasted with the hop-bros at Jessí cosy inn.]
Hazy look and a fresh hoppy aroma. Sounds good, and itís followed up by a complex flavor of flowers, bitterness, caramel and malt ending up in a dry hoppy aftertaste.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Really amber/orange color with thick white head. Lotís og hoppy aroma. Intens taste of hops, prunes, grass, lemon and spice. Quit complex for an IPA to be.
