COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This West Coast-Style India Pale Ale is extravagantly hopped, full flavored, medium bodied and copper colored. A menagerie of hops is combined throughout the brewing process to impart specific characteristics. Hops used include Simcoe for a unique fruitiness and grapefruit zest, Columbus for strong hop pungency, Centennial for pine and citrus notes, and Cascade for floral aroma.

Heavy pine tones with massive citrus burst and plenty of caramel, rather syrupy. Very bitter indeed. I think my bottle had passed its best. Good beer.

Fresh hops and strong citrus mostly grapefruit. Light foamy head nice Orange medium reddish body. Refreshing hoppy dry citrus fruit tastes kinda earthy in the finish. Crisp, clean, dry.

12oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper/amber color with a fluffy off white head. Aroma of strong grapefruit, floral and piney hops, citrus (lemon and orange zest), and some malt sweetness. Taste is really bitter up front (mainly grapefruit), some caramel malt to balance, and finishes piney/resinous.

Pours a near amber color with about an inch of white head that dissipates at a slow pace leaving a thin coating of bubbles atop the beer at all times. Huge hop aromas rest on top a pretty big bready malt aroma as well. The flavors are big hops: grapefruit, lemon, grass and pine and then a decent malted sweetness hits on the aftertaste smoothing out the bitterness. Palate is pretty thick though not sticky, ends up being perfect for this brew. Overall this is still one of my favorite beers in the WC IPA subgenre. I will have a glass anywhere I find it on tap and happily keep a bottle or two in my fridge.

Tap at Anthill. Was "forced" to get a pitcher instead of a pint. Pours a deep amber with big head when poured from the pitcher. Aroma is hoppy malts with some lemon. Meh. Overall, this is good to ok on tap, I never would get this in the bottle.

A-Big hoppy nose. Im in a hop field. A-Medium hazey, Amber orange hue, Sudsy head T-Big hop burst of flavor that moves across tongue to a bitter back. Citrus and Floral notes linger P-medium density and medium carbonation compliment O-agressive IPA showcases the hops. One of the best beer experiences I can remember.
