Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a thin, soapy beige head. Minimal lacing. Smells of mango, pineapple, grass, and pine. Tastes of grapefruit, mango, pine, and resin. Great IPA, but less bitter than I was expecting.

Grassy oily piny a bit too bitter to my taste. Not sweet at all. I much preferred their imperial IPA

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 humlelala (716) - DENMARK - JUN 14, 2013
(355 ml bottle from Ølbutikken; Bottled on April 15th 2013) Pours a clear amber with plentiful, tan head that fades leaving decent layer with beautiful lacework. Decent regeneration. Aroma is fresh hops with initial notes of spruce that get supplanted by something more floral with citrus notes. Nicely fresh and complex hop aroma. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium body with a nicely dry and slightly bitter finish. Flavour is distinct and hoppy although not too bitter. I guess the ABV contributes somewhat to the marked flavour profile of this beer even if it doesn’t seem to get in the way unpleasantly. Very well composed and surprisingly drinkable for the ABV. Nice to find an American IPA so relatively fresh in a Danish bottleshop. The only other similar experience I had with that was the Surly pale ales from Mikkeller & Friends and that experience was diminished somewhat by having tried Surly Furious even fresher from an IP trade.

A great IPA. Has a grassy pine taste to it. Purchased 4 pack at LCBO in Ontario, Canada for about $12-$13, so not a cheap beer that’s for sure, but very good IPA!
