COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This West Coast-Style India Pale Ale is extravagantly hopped, full flavored, medium bodied and copper colored. A menagerie of hops is combined throughout the brewing process to impart specific characteristics. Hops used include Simcoe for a unique fruitiness and grapefruit zest, Columbus for strong hop pungency, Centennial for pine and citrus notes, and Cascade for floral aroma.

On tap somewhere in Akron, Ohio. Classic deep golden look. Aroma is hope hops hops. Taste is the same though not so fruity. Also finish has a bit of dead coyote in it for some unknown reason. Yuck.

12 oz bottle poured into a shaker. The aroma is mostly grapefruit, pine, and toasted grain with some caramel coming in late. A light floral touch lasts throughout the drink. An abundant white head tops a clear, rich amber orange beer. The head retains well, with a creamy puff persisting by the end and it leaves lots of sticky, puffy, "dirty" lacing along the glass. Surprisingly not as bitter as I would expect from an American IPA, but maybe that’s where the "west coast" part comes in, I’d say medium / medium-low bitterness with a medium sweetness (maybe the higher threshold of medium). The medium full body has an oily texture to it with a decent amount of soft carbonation. The finish is a dry pine and grapefruit zestiness with a dry floral aftertaste that lingers for a while and is rather mellow.

A good IPA, a bit darker than some and a bit sweeter taste but still a good combo ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma of citrus, pine, and hops. Pours a murky golden color. This one has lots of sediment for some reason - it tastes fine so I don’t think I got a bad or expired bottle. Taste is wonderfully fresh. Citrus fruits, hops, and very little malt which is just how I like it.

Fruits, citrus, pine and caramel in the aroma. Amber with a white head. Medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter. Medium body with a average carbonation. Bitter and dry finish. Overall a nice, fruity IPA.

A- Pours a cloudy tangerine color with a nice, fluffy, white head. S- Light scent of piney hops. T- Light wheaty malt, moves into a wave of pine and a bit of an aftertaste. M- Medium bodied with decent carbonation. D- For the price the four pack goes for there are better IPAs out there.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a deep yet hazy orange/brown colored body, one finger white head, body too hazy for carbonation to be seen rising, foamy lacing in rings. The smell was centered around the pine with some hops coming in quite strong yet still second place. Some grapefruit, orange, and lemon came out as the beer warmed. The taste was bitter through the hops and then the pine taking second place on this one, some caramel came out as the beer warmed. On the palate, it sat about at a medium on the body with a dry aftertaste yet a slight creamy feel. A decent amount of carbonation was felt. It was mostly a drinkable beer yet feel content with just this one. Overall, this was a very good beer that I’ve been consuming for the past 2 years on and off.
