COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This West Coast-Style India Pale Ale is extravagantly hopped, full flavored, medium bodied and copper colored. A menagerie of hops is combined throughout the brewing process to impart specific characteristics. Hops used include Simcoe for a unique fruitiness and grapefruit zest, Columbus for strong hop pungency, Centennial for pine and citrus notes, and Cascade for floral aroma.

This has to be the best west coast IPA I have ever had hands down. This blows away most DIPA’s I’ve had. The color is a nice clear orange with a beautiful white head. The smell is citrus and pine needles. The taste is so amazing! Loaded with hops, I can definitely taste Simcoe (the only hop I can really distinguish except for Columbus) and there is such a wonderful piney, citrus flavor. One bottle I had tasted exactly like biting into an orange. I wanted to give this one all 5’s but it is a little unbalanced so I had to ding the drinkability. Still, at 7% ABv and $7 per sixer, this stuff is amazing. Delicious. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 03-02-2007 19:50:39

LIght amber, tight white head with nice lace. Deep malt and deep malt on the nose. Thick malt with hops almost "hot" on the tongue.Bitter, but enticing hop finish. Wow.

Pours with an orange hue. Most of the hops are in for the full boil with a bittering which comes through well as well as lean on flavor time hopping. A bit of citrus still comes through, but a nice, crisp balance of bittering and malt and a touch of grapefruit. Very crisp, very clean tasting and well built, it goes down very easily.

Nice surprise - a good, hoppy IPA with tons of flavor. The aroma was - shall I say - reminiscent of fresh marijuana bud. Strange, I know. But true. Deep, golden color; cream-colored head. Threw a lot of sediment. Pine- herb taste, very refreshing. Heavy body leaves an almost sticky mouth feel. Very good IPA.

Not sure why this beer is classified as an IPA because it is not. Extremely mild on hops. Goes down like a lager. But, if you are not expecting an IPA or don’t like hops, it is actually a good beer that goes down smooth.

An average IPA. Mild hop taste takes a back seat to the malt. Not much aroma either. Does have a great copper color. Glad i tried it, but I won’t be yearning for more

Bottle. fantastic citrus and floral hop aromas. Medium bodied with lovely caramel malt undertones, with great hop bitterness throughout and a long lasting hop bitterness on the palate, that is wonderful.

Bottle, pours hazy amber with medium off white head. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruits, some malts, some pine. Smells good. Taste is very nice and hoppy with pineapple, mango, peach, some sweet malts. Good bitterness, medium dry. Really nice IPA, very drinkable.

Pours cloudy amber, yeast particulates, tan frothy head. Herbal malts, pine, resin, citrus and grapefruit, maple syrup on the nose. Lots of bread and caramel malts, resinous hops, dank fruits with a decent body, dry bitterness on the finish. Fairly balanced and pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
