Nice pine and citrus aroma, great balance of hops and malt. Exactly what I want in an everyday IPA.

Jan 4, 2010 Draft at Finnegan’s, Plainfield. Light brown draft, clear body, with a light layer of foam. Sweet citrus and piney hop nose. The taste brings on the aggressive hops, pretty much right up there in Alpha King territory. A solid "table" IPA. Though there are plenty of pushy hops, it doesn’t push over into "extreme" territory. But the hops push through with its pine and resins with no apologies, until I get to a slightly minty finish,

Dec 31, 2009 Bottle, 12oz. It pours a clear, copper-orange body under a beige head. Some bready notes in the aroma, but mostly citrus and grapefruit. The flavor is a nice blend of malty sweetness and citrusy, bitter hops, leading to a lasting, bitter finish. Full body. A very nice beer, lacking some on refreshing qualities, but very tasteful and blending sweetness and bitterness in a fine way. 090925

Dec 27, 2009 bottle. pours a deep orange with a 1 finger thick white head... big floral and resiny hop aromas... big thick body full of hops, citrus notes and a touch of light fruit. amazing tongue scraping bitter finish that lingers quite a while... definitely more like a IIPA... big IBUs, thick hops without going overboard - lovely.

Dec 24, 2009 bottle, pours a hazy copper with with light tan head, looking closly it has particles suspended in it makeing it look hazy. Aroma is big citrus with a little soft sweetness. Taste, the hops go right to the tongue and immediatly start trying to turn it inside out, big citrus flavor. The mouth is coated with a grapefruit smoothness then huge bitterness, pine flavor lingers and the dry mouth wants more. The tingle lingers and lingers. Feels like a double or imperial Ipa. Love it

Dec 20, 2009 On tap at Spring Street Smokehouse. Nice amber with a thick head. Aroma is pure hops. Flavor is complex hop layers, pine, grapefruit, not so fruity, just hop bitterness with a mild maltiness. A hop bitch slap.
