Bottle sample @ 5de Brugs Bier festival.

Blond colour, lacy head. Soft and malty at first. Some light, fresh hops come later. Sweet finish with a hint of banana.

4/II/2012 75cl bottle @ Brugs Bierfestival - BB: n/a (2012-90)

Cloudy light orange beer, big white creamy head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very yeasty, cheese, bit of flowers, hay. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bitter, yeasty, cheese, flowers, bitterness prevails. Aftertaste: bit more cheesy, a fruity touch, overripe to rotten fruits, grapefruit and citrus.

75 cl. bottle sampled @ Bruges Beer Festival 2012: hazy golden with a creamy head, taste is rather mellowed out & slightly sweet upfront with the smell being more “hoppy” with a touch of herbal & grassy hops, still sweet Belgian yeast, fruity, touch sweet malt, hint honey-sweetness, field-like quality with the finish going to slightly bitter mellowed out fruity floral hops, slick, easy going, touch different but it has a nice mellowness to it, bitterness in finish is easy going as well

(Bottled, 0.75l) Hazy golden with a smallish, lacy head. Very grainy-malty nose with honey and aromatic-herby hops. Flavor is pale-honey-malty, herby-hoppy, moderately bitter, earthy. Medium body, medium CO2. A quite nice, herby-aromatic brew. 4545

Good yellowish, dense head over hazed metallic-golden beer. Some hops, and rincing soap - probably the glass. Served very cold, hence little aromas. Outspoken fresh hops’ flavour, bit herbal and insectoid, but straight and honest. Sweet honeyish malts ever present. Medium bodied, quite slick. Very well-balanced, which is far from evident in this kind of beer. Good!
