Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dusty malt, chalk, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to modrate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110617]

Cask at cloisters. Amber glow with a small but consistent head. 5% version, says "premier" on the label, possibly different from listed. Sweet citrus hop nose. Taste is quite sweet, peachy fruit with a zesty tang. Muted bitter finish, subtle but long. Nice. Bit one-dimensional.

Cask conditioned Handpump Vat & Fiddle Nottingham A light gold coloured beer with a slight off-white coloured head. The aroma is fairly thin but there are some citrus notes. Fairly decent orangey notes. A bit of malt backbone. Not bad.
