2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
[cask at Cloisters, Edinburgh] Clear golden pour with a very thin head that reduces pretty quickly. Faint aromas of grass and straw – but very little on the nose. Flavour is mild hop and very slight citrus hop. Thin and watery, and although drinkable it didn’t make me go back for a second

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask conditioned handpump Victoria Inn Northampton. A golden beer with a slight whitish head. The aroma is decent and hoppy with good citrus notes. It’s the same in the mouth with good oranges. A little soap at first but it develops well. Pretty good.
