3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask at the Three Guineas, Reading. Hazy golden brown colour, eventually clearing, with a loose white head. Malty aroma, and predominantly fruity malty flavour with a touch of light hops and citrus to finish. Very pleasant.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Probably very similar to the seasonal golden ale, the handpump is identical other than now having the word ’brown’ wedged in and it sounds similar from the RB descriptions. However, it’s advertised as new for 2011 and has an ABV 0.3% lower so I’ve given it a new entry.
Light gold colour, quite cloudy with yeast sediment throughout the pint. Light floral hoppy taste with nice hint of citrus and a little malt to balance, pleasant easy-drinking beer. On tap at Lowestoft Town FC.
