3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500 ml bottle. From beersofeurope.co.uk.
Hazy golden colour with tiny white head.
Not very strong but tempting hoppy aroma. Itís like sweet fruitiness and something else gone bad. Flavour is also somewhat delicate. Not very hoppy in American stardards but still interesting. Orange, mild grapefruit and caramel malt in flavour. Bitterness is lying somewhere behind.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500ml bottle, best before 31/07/12, drunk on 1 January 2012. Mid gold in colour. Lively carbonation but not too gassy. Thin white head. Some tangy orange peel noticeable in the aroma and flavour. Moderately bitter. Not a huge hop bomb IPA but itís clean, firm and very drinkable. I enjoyed this one.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle conditioned bottle from Ales By Mail. Pours with a golden yellow and a thin white head. Aroma is grassy citrus. The beer dances over the tongue and the bitterness attacks sides of the tongue then washes over with lemony alcholic hop flavour. This is a little more complex than just citrus hop it has malt and sourness too. A nice bitter British IPA.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at the Clachlan, London. Pours clear gold with a small, filmy white head. Aroma holds toasted sugar, honey and leaves. Flavor is pleasant enough, a bit of doughy malts, cake, mild earth and leaves, some caramel. Light bodied with soft carbonatio. Sticky sweet finish but some hops to make an appearance, some lingering herbals to go with light caramel. Alright, this is alright.

Cask, gravity, at Pigís Bíear Festival í10 at The Pig íní Falcon, St Neots, Cambridgeshire. Copper with a small white head. Malt aroma with a suggestion of spice and a trace of sour unripe plum. Beautiful sweet fruity taste with a malty background and a mid bitter finish. Top notch.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask conditioned at The Triangle Tavern, Lowestoft, Suffolk. Pale gold with white head. There is an apple, cidery character about this, fruity and dry and really quite perfumed. Not immediately to my taste but it grew on me.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hand pulled at the Malt Shovel, Blackheath, West Midlands. Orangey yellow, thick head. Largely tasteless, apart from a slow rising strength on the finish: which is sticky, thickly crunchy and like a deep hued sunrise. Some orange peel, could be a grower, but [page ripped out of notebook by daughter at this point and lost].
