Cask at The Barton Arms; clear amber pour with soapy white head, malt aroma, a smidgen of orange in the taste not much wheat beer coming through in the look or taste, adequate English bitter.

Cask @ gbbf, medium sample. Clear golden color, medium head. Aroma has bit Orange, bit wheat. Bit bitter taste. All in all its quite thin and watery, though the creaminess is wonderful.

On cask at The Queen’s Head, Lower Anchor Street, Chelmsford, 25/01/13. Doesn’t look or taste a lot like a wheat beer, more like a citrussy bitter. The orange isn’t too strong either. Quite hoppy too, for a wheat beer; towards IPA levels. Quite a cereally aroma, with some orange & dry yeast. Done quite well, subtle & quaffable. Little aftertaste though.

Excellent nose, but neither the fruits of the wheat character transfer well into the taste.

Bland and tasteless, apparently now using Citra hops ? They seemed to be missing ! To be honest I actually find Green Jack beers very average.

[on cask in Edinburgh] Citrus and slightly earthy hops with a contrapuntal citrusy fermentation accent. Almost clear gold under a lasting, white foam. Malty flavour with a faint phenolic note. Smooth, medium body, low carbonation.

Big orange with light hoppy citrus. Sweet with mid bitter, quite a nice beer for a summers day.

Draft. Clear gold beer. Semi dry palate. Fruity citrus that is indeed orange and also tangerine. Crisp fruity finish. Not much else going on but decent.
