Cask; Seasonal - Summer.
The Summer Dream is a pale summer ale, floral, dry and hoppy brewed with fresh hand picked elderflowers. Our most popular seasonal brew can be available in May if we have a warm spring or late June if its cold. Huge aroma of Summertime!

Cask at GBBF 2015. This Green Jack ale made with elderflowers pours a clear gold with a thick foamy head. The aroma is bready, lightly floral with citrus notes. Mes-full body and a creamy mouthfeel. The taste is creamed corn, bitter herbs and corn biscuits. Interesting. 3.4

Cask at Draft House as íSummer Dreamí 4%. Says itís brewed for Draft House, but Iíll assume itís the same beer. Pale yellow, clear, still, small foamy white head. Aroma has lots of elderflower as promised, green apple. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is light, biscuity, elderflower, minerals and dissolved sugars, quite watery but with a musty bitterness that builds. The bar staff werenít impressed but I thought it was nice enough - light and easy.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol, June 2014. Golden in colour with a slight, white, head. Easy drinking pale ale, with some subtle elderflower notes, hint of grassy hop and moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Jubilee, Norwich. Yes, a summer beer. Pale with some rough zingy hops. Itís nice enough, but there are better examples available. Very popular here in the pub though.

August 26, 2013 - on cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen. Very clear and bright light brassy-gold with a small creamy white mottled head. Light aroma, classic floral/grassy golden ale - taste has some tartness and wheaty dryness and yes, elderflower - very light. Light body, carbonation, astringenty - a nice little acidic bitterness emerges in the finish - dry, refreshing.

Cask @ GBBF 2011. A clear yellow/orange colored beer, with a small off white head. The aroma is fruity, citrus and some caramel. Also some hops. The taste is fruity, gentle moving to bitter hops. The aftertaste is dry bitter with sweets.

On cask at the 26th Annual Folk Festival in Ely. A golden ale with a decent white head. Aroma of bubblegum flavoured ice-cream. Great flavour, lots of fruity hops, passionfruit, pineapple and mango. Not overly bitter. Sweetness is well balanced with the malt and hop characteristics. Gorgeous!
