2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pale golden colour with a partial gibbous skim of white head, good clarity and some carbonation apparent. Some noble hop aroma with mellow gooseberry, but it is an aroma that isn’t in terribly great abundance. The flavour is clean and carries that gentle hoppiness and some sweetish pilsner malt. I was surprised at the watery texture of this beer. It seems to lack the full flush of tangy, bitter pils, as if it s a job half done. Disappointing.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Almost tasteless. Hardly any aroma at all. Soft. Thin. There is but a meer hint of the hop tang that you might be expecting, but other than being lightly flavoured fizzy water there isn’t a lot to recommend this.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The head is good, the body is blond. It smells fruity, interesting malty. The taste is fruity, malty, bit bitter, flower-fruity. Quite different and ok. 3.1

500ml bottle from Fresh Choice supermarket in Nelson. Rancid diacetyl bomb... butter, oils, fermenting cheese and more. Over-carbonated with strong isovaleric acid / sweat. Gag-inducing. From recent ratings of this brewery it seems I’m not the only one gagging from their infected bottles. Couldn’t drain pour because I was on the beach so I dumped it into the Tasman Sea.
