Hoppy with a properly balanced body. Generous hop additions give it wonderful bitterness & a pleasant floral nose. Our combination of traditional British malts creates a rich flavor & copper color. This authentic English style IPA is our flagship. 6.2% ABV

Poured from a bottle. Coppery orange with fluffy offwhite head. Light hop aroma; mostly bready malts and earth. Carries through to the taste. Bitter finish. Medium body.

Pours copper with a small white head. Aroma is earthy, caramel, citrus and resin. Taste is mild bitters with a touch of sweetness, very well rounded as it does not stray to far in either direction. Medium bodied.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of piney hops and bready malt. Body is medium and crisp. Earthy hops dominate the palate, while caramel malt and ripe fruit provide support. Finish is long, dry, and very bitter. Excellent brew.

Bottle from my Cousin. Slightly cloudy deep gold color with a nice head some aromatic hops for an English style and lots of Malt. A bit metallic at the start.

Thanks Henry Burnt orange. Almost no head. There’s some herbal aromas, chestnut and almonds. Pine cone and sweet tangerine. Very light taste. The finish is rough. Definitely an older bottle. Crisp, melon, pepper, floral.

Keg at the brewpub, 17/02/15. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is juicy hops, light mango, tangerine, perfumed notes, straw. Taste comprises orange pith, melon, light caramel, straw, touch of biscuit malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok IPA - restrained hops, trad English stylee as mooted.

Bottle. Hazy Amber pour with a big whit head that dissipated quickly. Pine, malt, grapefruit, caramel. Medium body. Well balanced. Slightly bitter finish. Easy ipa to enjoy.

Draft at Jack of the Woods This ale poured a clear dark amber with an off-white head with lacing. You detect a citrus aroma with some caramel malts. The medium body IPA had average carbonation. Quiet bitterness grows into the swallow for a clean, gentle finish. There was a lingering bitterness that stayed until the last swallow.

Bottle. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.
