COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hoppy with a properly balanced body. Generous hop additions give it wonderful bitterness & a pleasant floral nose. Our combination of traditional British malts creates a rich flavor & copper color. This authentic English style IPA is our flagship. 6.2% ABV

Dark copper with a small head that leaves tons of lacing. Nice aroma of busy malt and pine, citrus, and dirty English hops. Sweet, complex malty start leads to a ton of bitterness. Nice, unusual ipa.

Bottle. Floral nose, light medium bitterness. Decent amount of backbone, definitely leans English style.

Bottle. Hazy Amber pour with a big whit head that dissipated quickly. Pine, malt, grapefruit, caramel. Medium body. Well balanced. Slightly bitter finish. Easy ipa to enjoy.

Foxbush (1444) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAR 25, 2015
Draft at Jack of the Woods This ale poured a clear dark amber with an off-white head with lacing. You detect a citrus aroma with some caramel malts. The medium body IPA had average carbonation. Quiet bitterness grows into the swallow for a clean, gentle finish. There was a lingering bitterness that stayed until the last swallow.

Bottle. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

On tap at the brewery. Clear yellow/range pour with a white head. Grapefruit hop aromas. Taste follows suit. Good balance, body, and mouthfeel. Solid IPA...

Location: 12 oz bottle from Bruisin’ Ales, 1/14/15

Aroma: The nose is sweet and pale malts, some orange, floral hop notes, and a little biscuit
Appearance: Pours a clear orange color with a small ring of off-white head and medium lace
Flavor: The taste is sweetness and spice, with a strong malt presence and a good bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, has a light stickiness, a lively carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: I think the flavor declares more of a hoppiness than the nose would have suggested. At the same time, the hops don’t quite hit a great flavor note. Throughout though, I found this to be a decent beer. Not the most drinkable beer, but a pretty nice beer none-the-less.

From a bottle. Pours hazy copper with a fizzy off white head. Tastes like dry grapefruit, musky citrus hops. Dry medium body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet bready malt and musky hops.

Bottle. Pours mostly clear golden amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is bready and cereal malts, faint toast, light woodiness, and faint spice. Flavor is dry and malty with less of a hop presence than what I expected; some grassy hop notes, but mostly just a toasted malt flavor. Medium body and carbonation.

Pours honey amber in the glass. Tropical fruit nose with a hint of floral pine. Nice bitter citrus flavor with a touch of wheat crackers thrown in. Overall, a nice beer, a bit soft for an IPA but drinkable.
