Bottle @ RBWG, Asheville. Amber pour with a small head. Cherry tart and cranberry on the nose. Some flaky croissant. Moderately tart red fruit skin. Somewhat acetic. Blackberry squash. Light and nimble. Simple but pleasant.

Shared up at Proof (by Lance I think). Red-brown pour. Aroma of tart, earthy, oak, berry. Tastes of vinegar, berry, cherry. Very sour. Very nice. - 7.8

Hazy dark brown with a thin white head. Tart aroma, fruity, acetic. The flavor is tart and vinous, a little too much vinegar or not enough malt to balance this out.

hazy tepid sepia. Lightly chalky cherry, tons of brown sugar and wood. Heavy acetic front palate, light chocolate and toast mid before burning acid finish, light lime in thin, sticky end. Never comes together, conflicted, but few off notes and expressed.

Great stuff. Comes together well with sour plum, some tangy tartness. Amber with good head and lacing. Some thick palate here. Bottle thanks to Travlr at Epic Sour Tasting.

Bottle. Poured a clear ruby color with a small wispy head. Aroma was notes of sour, tart cherries, some funky sugar notes. Flavor was sour, tart, dark fruits. Flavor was pretty tasty and nicely tart.

Tasted on 2/7/14 from a capped 750mL bottle at the Friday night tasting at RBWG Asheville. Pours clear amber with a thin beige head that slowly disappears to no lace. The nose is quite sour with some added caramel and nutty bread malt. The flavor is just as sour as expected with tons of tart, vinous cherry, a touch of caramel malt, and plenty of nutty bread malt. The body is medium with nice tannin, light carbonation and a long tart and sour vinous cherry finish.

Sampled at ESBLS. I bought this at Green Man during RBWG. Dark brown with just a little off white foam. An aroma of cherries with vinegar and funky yeast. Cherries are big in the flavor. Some vinegar. I also taste wood and something that I will call tree bark. Earth and tartness. Good stuff. And I am not a fan of sours.

Bottle at the Triad bottle share at Foothills organized by Mike. Nice caramel malt backbone with loads, and I mean loads, of red fruity tartness. Although I know it’s cherries, I got lots of freshly picked strawberries. Awesome stuff.
