COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An English pale ale, bright gold in color with an assertive hop character. With English yeast, European barley malt and American hops (Centennial and Cascade), this hybrid ale reflects the best from three continents.

Had on tap at West First. Just totally average. Sort of like a crossover beer- if that is what they had in mind. Looks good (nice orange color with decent head) and smells good (citrusy) but taste is a let down. Just a bit flat and boring to me. Could drink a pint and not be offended, but could probably find something better. Like Green Man IPA, for example.

This poured a light copper color with a white head. The aroma contained some citrus and caramel notes. There is a hint of toffee in there. The flavor is somewhat bitter with some lemons showing but also has a nice malty backbone. Overall this is a pretty good session beer.

Pours a nice clear amber with a decent white head. Strong, malty aroma has fruity and hoppy underpinnings. Flavor fills the mouth with good malt and quite a bit of hops, woody and a little bitter, plus more than a hint of fruit. Smooth texture has plenty of fizz and sass. a toast to the Green Man!

On tap at the Appalachian Vintner. Light gold color, with a medium, off-white head. The aroma is resinous and citrusy hops up front, with some hay, and bread dough. Nicely balanced flavor. Medium body, crisp, and clean. Overall, this is a very nice, hoppy pale ale.

From Tap. Pours a nice cloudy amber color. Head dropped quite. Aroma was fruity hops with a bready malt undertone. Taste followed with a thin mouth feel and watered down taste. Crisp on the end. Good for summer time.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity hoppy aroma with hints of citrus. Fruity malty hoppy piney flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy piney finish.

On tap at The Federal, Durham. For all I know it could’ve been one of the other varieties listed in the database, but "Pale Ale" is what both chalkboard and waitron said. Bright pale copper pour, with fairly light carbonation. Isolated and large-ish bubbles rather than a foamy scrim. Dry fruit and hops in the nose, pale malts and leafy bitters. Mouthfeel is a bit of a letdown, prickly at first but then a bit watery. Flavors are quite dry for the most part, and refreshing for sure. But there wasn’t a huge amount going on here.

On tap at busy bee In Raleigh, nc. Hazy orange pour with a lush white head and spotty lace. Aroma is resinous citra hops. Aggressive hop profile with resinous tropical fruit undertones. I was pleasantly surprised By this brew and definitely enjoyed a few pints hopefully it finds it’s way back to the bee

Had a pint at Jack of the Wood. I get the feeling this is aimed at the BMC crowd. Not very flavorful, pretty forgetful. Aroma is nice and with it being light you can have it refilled a few times and not get overpowered. I was just expecting more out of it.
