6 Jan 2015, bottle. Meaty, wet old leather. Med body and mildly fizzy. Meaty, sweet, some burnt malt. There is something here I can’t put my finger on. I don’t think it is smoky but it is something like that. Or maybe barky.

Draft at the brewery during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours clear, amber-brown with a creamy, tan head. Pretty OK stuff, with some chocolaty malts, light toasted caramel, bread, leaves. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, reasonably well balanced, with further mellow chocolate and toasty bread. Nice beer.
