4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
750ml bottle from Peabody’s in Boone, NC. Some malt but piney but full aroma. Pours copper orange with a nice white foam with great lacing. Taste is huge, hops explode, with a hint of malt and a alcohol burn mixed in but in full flavor. The palate is piney but not over top. A great beer and I will pick this up again for sure.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Draught. Pours an amber color without a large head. Nose is very hoppy, as is the taste. Light on the palate with a clean crisp finish. One of the better IIPAs I’ve had.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft... Jupiter Craft Brewer’s Festival 2013... This beer rocks!… Deep, crystal clear, textbook amber ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Great retention. The bouquet is a grapefruit bomb with a sprinkling of cat piss and other assorted, dank, earthy notes. There are also mild components of biscuit and flowers. Full-bodied and lightly creamy with prickly carbonation. The flavor features an impressive toffee, caramel and honey malt backbone, but it only serves as a pedestal for massive citrusy and earthy hop bitterness. Lengthy, bittersweet finish. World class imperial IPA!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a slightly hazy gold with a medium white head. Aroma has loads of fresh hop notes...so green and citrusy/spicy...simcoe all over. Flavor is so fresh! Pine, grass, fresh greenery, faint citrus...light hoppy spice...mild herbal notes. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is dry and herbal/piney. Awesome.

Poured into a goblet at Dirty Jack’s. This is that bright orange color I enjoy so much in IPA’s with a good white head. Looks like Green Man has gone very American with this one. There is super strong citrus in the nose with pine, melon and grass. The malts are appropriately sticky, giving this a resinous feel, but doesn’t get overwhelming even towards the end of the glass. The hops are bitter and refreshing throughout providing refreshment and a spicy finish. I am very pleased with this one. Well done!

Bottle thanks to scotchzi. Wow. Pours pretty clear orangeish/gold. Smell is super fresh juicy pineapple, and citrus. Taste is fresh grapefruit core, floral hops, pineapple, citrus, malty base, and underlying earthy notes at the end. Very balanced. Bold flavors but not overpowering.

Brewvival Trip Beer 9. Draft at the brewery. Pours a murky orange color with a large creamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of intense resin hops with pine, citrus and tropical hops and caramel malts. Huge hoppy taste with notes of resin, herbal, vegetal and candied citrus. Pale malts. Medium bodied, faint booze. Different DIPA, but quite nice.
