robertsreality (2462), Minnesota, USA Mar 17, 2007 Pale Pale Gold Color with No Head. Sweet Lightly Grained Malt. Dry Malty Aftertaste. Slightly Better Then Drinking Michelob. Subtle To No Malt Aftertaste. detroiter (957), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA Jan 27, 2007 The server said that this was a "Canadian Style Lager," but if that’s true, its better than anything by Molson and Company.
Poured a clear golden yellow, with just a thin trace of pure white head. Pretty light on the aroma. Good hoppiness up front, like a good Eastern European lager, but it didn’t stick around very long. Decent mouthfeel, good carbonation. A bit of lemon in the aftertaste.
Very clean, very smooth beer. Refreshing and well made. Not really my style of brew, but nicely drinkable. Goes good with pizza. Pigfoot (2225), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Oct 12, 2004 Appearance: clear, bright golden color, short, swiftly diminishing white head.
Aroma: clean, and simple.
Taste: excellent texture, delightful tang, dominant sweetness.
Some hops up on top, fading back quick, and tasty malt. Persistent honey/citrus taste, long lasting finish.
Really flavorful lager, I could down this by the bucketful if that were possible.
beermatrix (1497), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA Jun 26, 2003 Appearance of a solid pilsner with a pale light yellow, glowing; atop sits a small white head of very airy froth, light spotty lacing. Soft on the nose with a crisp sweetness from malt and a light honey-like note. Taste is excellent, perfectly light textured smoothness and medium bodied. Flavors on this are quite nice and subtle in its layers. Starts with a favorable light bite of hop thats just right and flows into a nice sweet tartness, very smooth with a hint of sugared honey in there. Perfectly balanced, subtle and pleasing beyond belief. One very amazing pilsner and so drinkable its not even funny.
