ketchepillar (280), Des Moines, Iowa, USA Dec 16, 2007 Compared to the Goldflint, it is more aromatic, less watery, Also there is a little more hops in here, but still not that much. a little bit of spiciness that livens it up a little from very boring to lightly boring. BückDich (4559), Boise, Idaho, USA Oct 5, 2007 Draft @ Brewpub: A dull amber color, light head and nice lacing. Nose of light malt and hop, not much there. The flavor is all band aid, super woody and medicinal. Horrible. chris_o (4409), London, Greater London, England Jul 17, 2007 On tap at the St Paul brewpub (sampler). I would normally expect an Irish Ale to have an element of red in the colour. This was decidedly golden in appearance. A touch of smoky malt in the aroma. Smooth and malty of the palate, with a more apparent smokiness. Not much hop in evidence. Drinkable, but nothing special.
