Cask at Oxford beer Festival 11-10-07 Poured copper in colour, quite fruity, not as hoppy as one might expect, comes across as more of a decent fruity beer, nice juiciness, some malts to fall back on and a slow improver, not too bad but not sure this is an out and out IPA, to be honest if I hadn’t of checked it’s strength I would have been more likely to believe that this was a good honest session beer in the 4% category.

Cask Handpump at the Black Horse, Darwen 24/08/2007 Some fruit aroma. Amber coloured and slightly hazy with a crisp and bitter lasting finish.

A Sim rate (cask at Nottingham BF): Such an astringent aroma. Hoppy. Hoppy. Hoppy. Bitter. Malty. (Sim’s. Best. Rate. Ever. - Mes)

Cask conditioned at Oxford beer fest ’07. Hazed dark amber with no head. Fruity slightly sweet bitter, with a fuller malt than expected. A little peachy in flavour and quite short on the finish.
