On tap at Ravenous Pig. Pours hazy bronze color with a fleeting white head. Smells of apricots and spice. Tangy orange and rosemary as promised in the flavor. Very easy drinking and mild on the Brett. Paired perfectly with the white bean soup.

Sweet extra labeled "gusher" thanks to GT. Pours apricot gold with an initially thick head that settles down quite a bit. Nose is a pleasantly refined herbal saison, brett yeast with light socky and citrus expressions. Mouth is light fruit and dry brett upfront, segueing into a strangely empty mid palate and herbal/bitter finish. Brett and citrus expression upfront is good, very rustic, back palate rougher with more hops. Body is light with good carbonation. Good overall, certainly missing something though.

Hazy light yellow pour with a white head. Nose is rather spice and herb forward. Lots of pepper, coriander, lemongrass, and rosemary. Some lemon, orange, and cracker malt. Dry flavor with some light Brett funk, leather, and grass. Lemongrass, lemon zest, pepper, coriander, and a bit of rosemary on the finish. Moderate orange, a bit of tartness, and a dry malt profile.

On tap at Kickback’s, JAX. After reading RBWG reviews, was glad to find this still on tap. Nice cloudy pale gold pour with a fairly lively head. Invitingly aromatic saison yeast, dry grassy notes, and understated brett. You can certainly get a whiff of the additions in the nose, but they come across more in the taste. Each one on its own blends nicely with the bretty saison, though there were moments when I wasn’t entirely convinced that the blood oranges and the rosemary were happy dance partners. Still and all, an interesting, enjoyable saison.

Pours a translucent golden yellow from the bottle with thin ring of bubbly lace. Aroma of citrus, lemon and orange, and a faint hint of funky brett. Taste is much more if the brett than the smell, but still good citrus presence, nice balance. Good stuff.

Tap at Kickbacks, RBWG. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a fizzy white head. Nose of light citrus, lemon, lots of spice, lemon verbena, light brett. Flavor is slightly muddled, spices take over more as the citrus and lemon notes fade. Semi-dry, herbal finish.

Pours a light orange with a lasting layer of white powdery head. Lace mapping down the glass. Fruity, bretty, saison aromas. Above average mouthfeel.Very good tasting saison with blood orange ( a favourite as I can drink it and not ingest it solid owing to allergies). A great saison, thanks Brian for hooking me up.

750mL courtesy of GT. Thanks! A: First, cork got-damn near killed me. While I can’t deduct points for that, beware when opening these things. Beer is a beautiful golden color with a 1/2" head. Falls of the glass. Randomly moving bubbles throughout. N: Sour lemon zest, heavy on the biscuit, straw, and lots of esters. The blood orange and the rosemary are somewhat, suprisingly, muted. T: Semi-sour blood orange, brett, and soap. Very, very estery and funky. Pepper corn and a slight salty cheese. Rosemary shows up inside of the aforementioned funk. Horse blankets. WIthout looking it up, I guessed this was meant to be closer to Orval rather than a saison. M: Light and crisp,, medium bodied. Has that touch of oiliness while somehow still remaining chalky that I associate with saisons. O: Solid effort all around, and not a beer I’d turn down on any occasion. That said, I don’t know if this is something I’d feel the need to seek, either.

750mL bottle courtesy of drowland. Cheers, Danny! Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is rosemary, herbs, some funk, Saint Somewhere yeast, and some pineapply brett. Flavor follows with a nice bit of malt, some yeast, and an herbal rosemary quality. Interesting beer overall.

Pours a hazy pale yellow/orange with a thick white head...lively...nice retention and lacing. Aroma has herbal rosemary notes and some fruit rind, orange and bretty funk. Flavor is more herbal and spicy than anything...orange is a bit lost but there is some nice funk to it. Mouthfeel is light and very lively with a dry bretty/musty bitter fruit rind finish.

Hazy ish golden with nice sustained white head... Aroma of Bretty juice, lightly doughy... Lively up front, a bit too herbal, flavor hits up front then fades quickly to a lingering herbal finish... Brett is subtle, but constructive, not there just because its Brett and this is a saison... Medium body... Decent, but too herbal...
