4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
One of my all time favorite stouts! The aroma is rich with the smell of sweet chocolate and just about makes you salivate. The taste is less sweet than the smell with a bit of chocolate but more complexity. The favors linger on the palate and make you thirst for more. This is a great beer to sip and savor the flavor changes as it warms in the glass. I've only found it on tap at one bar and I can't bring myself to order anything but whenever I go there. Try it!

Tap at brewery. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Great milk choc vanilla aroma. Medium body, medium carbonation. Milk choc, vanilla, wood, grass... A bit thin but nice enough.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft - Sweet artificial chocolate, just like the cereal. Jet black with almost no head. Chocolate sweet syrup and cereal. Sweet and horrible, but absolutely true to the name.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Green Room. Pours a dark brown with light beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is light roast oatmeal. Thin mouthfeel with a light roast and smoke. Light dry finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JAN 25, 2015 Dark pour with very little head. A sweet chocolate flavor is at the front of the beer but not overpowering and get enjoyable to drink. The tap room fills 32oz growlers for $5, the same price as a pint in the tap room. The peanut and the Chocolate versions of the Shaka stouts are significantly more enjoyable than their original oatmeal stout.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft sample. Poured black color with an average fizzy tan head that was mostly lasting and produced excellent lacing. Moderate toasted chocolate malt aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy chocolate sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Good beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Fun beer. Deep brown pour. Chocolate and nougaty candy bar aroma. Taste was pretty much chocolate. Almost milky tasty. Pretty close to cocoa pebbles or count chocula cereal really (maybe the power of suggestion). slightly oversweet and artificial, but still good.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had this one on tap at Green Room. Pours an opaque black with a thick brown head. Aroma is unmistakably chocolate. Almost like cocoa crispies. Taste is well balanced with a good amount of chocolate. This is one of my favorite beers from green room.
