This is not my style of beer but not the worst one Iíve had for black IPAs. Poured a dark brown color with aromas of roast and light citrus. Flavors are the same light roast up front do followed by some citrus, decent beer overall.

On draft at Green Room. Pours a hazy brown with a tan head. Nose is roast, earth, some citrus hops, and some light pine. Flavor is similar- like earthy and roasty coffee with hints of citrus. Light to medium in body and nice overall.

Keg at the brewpub during RBWG 2013. Pours black-brown with a fine, tan cream. Burnt pine, random dark malts, some gritty earth, rioe grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Light resinous finish, some burnt pine, toasty bread, earth. Fair.

Super dark color. "it tastes like smoke"-girl. it does have a smokey taste to it, but also hoppy ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

11/14/12. On tap at the brewery. Dark brown, near black pour witha nice khaki head that cuts but laces in thick sheets. Light hop aroma with lots of creamy chocolate and coffee. Green, dank hop character in the flavor, almost like a bag of weed that a cat lightly whizzed on, again with a lot of creamy chocolate and coffee. Nice!
