Aroma has the same character as a sweet IPA without the full hop feel. Taste has a minor hop character and a nice sweetness. Palate is fairly light, leaving a sour taste. Color brown/orange with a small white head. Drinkable, nice hopped not quite pale ale.

A very solid if unspectacular pale ale, with light grapefruit tones on a slightly more caramel-heavy malt taste than I’d like. Pretty damn drinkable though, and very fresh tasting, so I’m excited that we have another strong-looking brewery in Florida.

Dogbrick (8657) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 21, 2012
Sample at Cigar City, mistakenly tagged as Clean Ocean Brown. The beer is a clear amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. The aroma is lightly hopped with some citrus notes. Light body with a mildly bitter hops character and flavors of citrus and sweet malt. The finish is lightly hoppy with a short bitter aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Tallahassee, Fl - Momo’s Pizza - on tap.Medium copper pour, off-white head, nice coat of lacing.Aroma has some peach accents, a hint of apricot fruitness, slight spruce. Flavor has some nice tartness to it, some citrus bitterness. Mouthfeel has a nice spritz to it. Refreshing, good companion to pizza.

Aurelius (4355) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUL 28, 2012
On tap at Momo’s - first day of the 2012 Olympic games. The aroma was muted American golden PA, right out of casting central. A medium orange color, foggy, with a thin, bubbly, frogs’ eggs head. Good bittering, but it came off almost as an amber ale. Limited sweetness and fruitiness. Mouthy. Long, one-note bitter finish.

Tap at proof. Big candy butterscotch aroma. Tastes are sweet malt, caramel, pine, bread, citrus, pine. Thin palate. Ok

7/14/12. On tap at the brewery. Clear amber pour with a small khaki head. Light citrus and caramel aroma. Laid back slightly hoppy flavor with a solid malt backing. Not bad.

Pours a copper color on draft with just thin white film and little to no lacing. Aroma of hops, piney and citrus, with a slight grainy malt finish. Taste is that, but falls flat in the end. Meh.

jjuf1853 (1242) - Land O Lakes, Florida, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Draft at Southern Brewing in Tampa. Pours a clear copper amber color with a medium off white head. Aroma is fairly mild with some piney hop notes. Flavor has a nice balance between the caramel malt sweetness and hop bitterness. A nice and easy drinking pale ale.

burg326 (3866) - Florida, USA - MAR 12, 2012
On draft at FBG Beerfest, pours a light orange color with aromas of pine, caramel, citrus, and sweet malt. Flavor of crisp citrus, lighter pine than aroma suggest and some caramel notes. Nice refreshing beer overall.
