On tap at Ravenous Pig. The description sounded amazing but I felt this fell a little flat. You can taste the tartness of the citrus but don't get quite the taste I was expecting. Pours a beautiful amber red. Overall not bad but not great

9/22/12. On tap at the brewery. Light amber pour with a nice khaki head. Light citrus and spice aroma with hints of chocolate. Nice dry bite in the flavor with touches of citrus and spice as well as chocolate. Nice.

cask @ redlight redlight. Bitter citrus on the nose with traces of pine. Pours reddish orange amber with a dense white head. Hoppy upfront with bitter pine and coriander followed by hints of caramel and finishing with bitter grapefruit with the coriander as well. For 4.9% there’s loads of flavor!

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2013 Draft… Cloudy Longhorn-orange ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Excellent retention. The aroma is quite nutty and toasty. Crazy malty - no grapefruit, orange or coriander that I can detect. Medium-bodied with dancing carbonation. The flavor, much like the nose, is nutty, toasty and just very, very malty overall - but sufficiently bittered for nice balance. Finishes lightly sweet and a touch caramely. This is just a malty good time. I love the malt bill and whatever hops and/or fruit they used here simply accentuates the fantastic malt flavors. I dig it - I dig it a lot.
