jbruner (1998) - Athens, Georgia, USA - FEB 11, 2014
Bottle shared at RBWG grand tasting! Pours a thick black with minimal head or lacing. Definitely a big barrel aged stout, chocolate and booze on the nose and taste. Solid beer but somewhat unimpressive for a Bartel aged stout.

Amongst above average beer this one shoots to the top. But when you compare it to top tier, it's at the bottom. So, incredibly good but not the best of the best. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
