No sniff but great looking and great body...really nice flavor for the ABV and easy drinking for a Barley.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Orange blossom Floridian Barleywine 9% ABV listed at the brewpub.
This had the look and ABV of a barleywine but not the flavor or aroma. Certainly not bad and rather easy to drink, but lacks depth and boldness. Think imperial marzen.
Medium body and carbonation.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tallahassee, FL - on tap at Proof. Medium gold pour, thin white head. Aroma is sweet with hints of dates and molasses. Flavor is initially slightly phenolic but settles as it warms. Light hints of dates, raisins with some butterscotch i notes. Same kind of plastic flavor that the Count Chhakula has. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Decent, but not a BW for the ages.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft. Pours light golden color with no head or lacing. Smell is typical, artificial orange flavoring. Taste is light honey, almost mead like, floral. So so beer, but barleywine?

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice honey gold. Only the slightest haze. Honey and distinct orange blossom aroma. Light cracker malt and surprising bitterness in the finish. Does not show its strength.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
It's pale in color and has a mild aroma which belies the intensity of the beer. You can taste the orange blossom and there are honey notes. Strong but smooth

Tap at Green Room for the final stop on our brewpub crawl for 12 hours of RBWG. Low haze straw pour, perhaps the lightest SRM I’ve ever seen for style. Nose is small honey, some plastic. Taste is extremely medicinal- heavy plastic, heavy honey flavored cough syrup, camphor, sugar, menthol. Undrinkable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg at the brewpub during RBWG 2013. Pours lightly hazy hold with a slight, white foam head. Smells of children’s Tylenol. Medium to big sweet flavor, more kiddy Tylenol, some ripe citrus. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet, lightly sticky and warming finish, some cloying fruit sugars. A bit heavy.
