Cask gravity, Nottingham 09. Bright orange amber with a slight mist and rim. Aroma somewhat redolent of the university sickbowl with dominant notes of bile, regurgitated OJ, Southern Comfort, sulphur. Stroke of canal-sodden labrador. Decent. Gentle green citrus and orange with a linger of Rich Tea biscuit, some cherrystone in there. On this evidence I don’t think Beata hops are going to set the brewing world on fire. OK, tepidly citrussy beer, embarassed by a glut of superior ones.
