Cask gravity @ The 3rd Stortford Beer Festival, Bishops Stortford CM23. Pours a clear golden color with a small off-whit ehead. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish.

6 Massively sulfury aroma.
3 Looks like a normal bitter, but a bit flattish.
6 Very dry barky bitter. Some mushroom. Probably not so young.
3 Some milkiness in the palate.
12 After being initially warned off, it turned out OK. Pretty solid bitter. Would be nice to have fresher.

Clear medium yellow orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, earth notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110729]

Cask@Bishops Stortford Beer Festival 2010. Yellowish golden colour, not much head. Aroma is bready malts, some citrusy notes as well as nectar. Flavour is quite much the same. A quite basic Golden Ale.
