[Cask conditioned] One of the worst bitters I have ever tasted. It really tasted like I imagine shit tastes. Totally undrinkable. I really hope for this brewery that there was something seriouly wrong with the cask.

On cask at the 26th Annual Folk Festival in Ely. A lovely clear amber colour with a lacy white head. Aroma of caramel. Pronounced barley flavour with caramel and a very mild lemon / lime sourness. A bit thin for me.

Cask (gravity dispense) at Battersea Beer Festival, 11 February 2010. Attractive clear copper colour. Loose white head. Dry malt aroma. Slightly smoky. Fairly dry flavour with a balance of malt and earthy hop. As the name might suggest, this is a traditionally styled bitter. Decent enough.

On gravity at the Queen Victoria, Stroud 05/09/09. Copper coloured with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish, red fruit aroma. Flavour was malty and sweet with a slightly bitter finish. Ok.

Jacob, something muste have been very wrong with your cask/pint. Mine was great, had a dark amber colour, and a well balanced flavour where you could find booth malts and hops.
