Not a hugely satisfying beer in any respect. Flatter and less flavorful than what could be expected by the labels of "Organic," and "Wild Hop." I have not had good luck with any organic brew, except Sam Smith’s Organic Ale.

Bough a sixer as they were on special - didn’t realise this was AB til it was too late!! Seriously not a hugely offensive organic lager. Palate and flavour are a bit dank and lifeless however. Maybe not the freshest. Some nice hop aroma somewhere which promises quality but ultimately a bit dissapointing.

Wild Hop Lager? In the aroma the hops are minimal at best. I have no idea what they’re talking about with this hop lager. Pours a deep golden color with a small carbonated white head. Aroma consists also of a light spice note and some corn. Flavor is minimal hops at best, sweet, the light spiciness and rather thin and watery. Palate is thin, watery and lackluster. Overall, what did I expect coming from AB? A huge hopped out beer? No not really. This basically confirms what I think about the old brewery in St. Louis. It’s commercialized, thin, watery beer

Bottle: Well I’ll be honest - I’m pissed. Pissed that I got excited about a wild hop lager. Pissed that I didn’t hold off for one god damned second and look this suspicious one up before buying. Pissed that it’s made by AB. Pissed that I bought the Pale Ale from the same company before looking that up. Unfortunately I have to give AB 1 point for suckering me in with the "wild hop" label. Bastards. So here goes...pours to a light pale amber-yellow colored body with a small, fizzy white head that fades. The aroma is very light hops, slightly spicy and grassy, along with some pale malt extract syrup, light corn, and pale malt scents. The taste is not that far from Bud Light, but it tastes like it’s brewed with less rice. Very light spicy/floral hop flavors alongside some mild pale malts, almost imperceptable pilsner malts, corn, and light malt syrup. Light bodied, medium carbonated, fizzy, not worth your time.

Looked decent and smelled decent, but just an average lager. Golden straw color with samll white head. Some detectable hop aroma. Slightly sweet with a bit of a hop bit at the finish. Drinkable and a much better offering than the other choices from A-B.

How come every time I give a low rating then read the description afterwards it’s always an A-B product? This beer was was like a Budweiser with a flatter flavor and more hoppy. The only thing "Wild" about this beer was the claim that it is flavorful.

Draught sample. Very clear straw color with a large white head that quickly faded to a short-lived white film, and then nothing. Odd coconut and cinnamon aromas. Smells like Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal with notes of watery whiskey and feed grain. Flavor of sweet roasted corn and oversweet tea, plus low bitterness. Thin, sticky, and syrupy. I tried (and I wish they would), but this earns thumbs-down without a doubt.

Poured a clear reddish gold in color with a half-inch white head. Subtle grainy aroma. Flavor is sweet malt, cracked grain, caramel with some mild citrusy hops on the finish. Not bad for an A-B product, I suppose.
