Nov 11, 2006 Well I thought it was pretty nice. Certainly the best thing from AB that I have tried. So I won’t play the "kick the Macro" game. I’ll give it a honest rating.

Nov 10, 2006 Draught. Clear dark golden color with thin foamy white head that didn’t leave much lace. Aroma was graham cracker, subdued malty caramel, and a whiff of grassy hops. Dry on the tongue. Body was on the light side. Tasted bland overall with light grain and a hint of sprucy hop. A real snoozer.

Medium pour in a tulip glass
Poured a clear copper with an average sized fizzy white head that flattened quickly into a tiny ring of lacing. Looks flat and uncarbonated halfway through.
Smelt of light caramel, dark bread, and herbs.
Taste was upfront light caramel and bread tones followed by a moderate hop awkward herbs and metallic bite on a slightly toasted malt finish of average length. Light bodied, watery, fizzy, metallic and slightly astringent.
Overall, this is just a bland beer with some attempt at taste. Finish is more awkward than a crag-climbing gangly adolescent on stilts.

Nov 8, 2006 12 oz Bottle. Aroma of peanuts. Golden body decent head may have been best part of beer. Toasted grain corn flavor. Drinkable but this is a kind of beer that people are talking about when you lose interest in rating and wonder why waste your time.

Nov 5, 2006 Some bad beers need to be avoided because they just plain hurt to drink. This is not one of those. It is fairly painless but at the same time completely unrewarding. Fine to drink if cold and free, unlike many other bad beers.
