| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 4, 2006 Copper color is nice. Head is small tight bubbles that are typical of what you’d see on mainstream full-calorie beers that have half-way decent head retention.
Smell is really pretty unimpressive. Hop odor is pretty faint for a product of this name.
Flavor seems really malty on the front end, and the hops aren’t really noticeable until the finish. Again, this is underwhelming surprising for a product of this name.
All in all, I’m not impressed. I know that A-B must have a robust R&D capability. However, I don’t feel that this product is a good demonstration of a capability that must exist within the nation’s largest brewer. KAggie97 (2427), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 4, 2006 Bottle. Had no idea this was an A/B product. Pours an average orange with a frothy head and nice lacing. Aroma is leafy malt and hops. Flavor is tangy hops with orange juice. Flows along the tongue. Pretty good, but not for $8.06 a six pack at Kroger. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 2, 2006 An orange color with a soapy looking head. The aroma has a hint of malt it with some corn amd oranges. The flavor is almost non existent with a hint of citrus and corn. Watery and bland. It would be great for beer bonging in college. Overall its boring. tommy8768 (120), Litlle Compton, Rhode Island, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 1, 2006 yellow-orange with hardly any head. Very vague hop aroma. Says its made from 100% barley malt but it doesnt taste like it. Slight hop taste and bitterness. Try again AB!! shadey (1496), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 29, 2006 Clear orange color. No head. Aroma is a light hop and some sweetness. Flavor is a little off. Kinda adjuncty. Light hop bite. Better than expected. Aubrey (2774), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 29, 2006 Clear and gold-amber, with a quickly fading head. Beery nose. Fluffy malt flavors. Odd hop flavors ... kind of like sour/bitter flower petals doused with sugar to take the edge off. As a lager, it’s not very clean; I’d even call it a little "dirty" for a light ale, if it were one. Too many off flavors, as well as a synthetic quality ... ironic that it’s organic. Overall, I found it very one-dimensional and without depth. More like a kiddie pool lager. Then, the noticeable flavors that were there weren’t even that great. SSSteve (2062), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 29, 2006 orange color with a medium sized, quickly diminishing, white head. dominantly grainy malt aroma with hints of hops. flavor is lightly hopped and crisp showing its grainy lager characteristics. malty and sweet cereal flavors. tastes artificial. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Oct 28, 2006 Bright orange with a quick dissapating head. very bubbly and pretty. Boring smell, kinda like most lagers. Peppery, slight hops. Nothing seems stale. Reletively common smelling. Nothing exemplary about it.Slight musky taste (not as bad as sapporo but still disheartening). It’s thin and watery like a lager. Kinda bubbly and carbonated. Boring. In general a boring beer. Not worthless but *shrugs* it’s not really worth much either. Good for a warm day or if you are an all natural person who likes lagers. I guess....
