Bottle. Pours clear brass color with small whitish head. The aroma is much like a haystack, with a few strange spicy hints. The flavor also is hay-like, with some grassy hop bitterness in there, too. The finish is cotton-candy like sweetness and a bit of corn. More flavorful than I was expecting, but still not all that good.

A White Elephant bottle from the Chi-town gathering and served in a standard pint glass: Pours a clean light golden hue with a long lasting fizzy top and surprisingly good lace. The aroma has notes of wet pale grains, notes of corn, cardboard esters and just a little note of grassy hop, very weak but then again it is a pale lager. The taste is rather grainy as well with a light touch of acidity and bitterness. Finishes clean and only a hint of chalky aftertaste. Rather simple but I have had much worse in this genre. (Why can’t organic beers have any balls?)

Oh, I just noticed that this is another attempt at a pseudo-micro from A-B, shiz in that case, it is an okay effort considering.

Bottle. Pours to a pale clean glowing golden body with a tall active off-white head. The aroma is sweetened lemons and floral hops. Kinda like a lemon water. The flavor is floral hops and bready malts. The palate is astringent, but not completely appalling.

(12oz bottle) Small white head atop a crystal-clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, floral/grapefruit, light lemon. Taste is medium sweet, bland, bread, light cardboard, lemon. Watery light body.

I gotta give Kudos for AB to at least "try" and make something decent, however, its still falls short of something worthwhile. Its taste, head and body are all sub-average at best. Still I could drink these if there was nothing else. Plus it is organic.

Mediocrity, but better than most AB selections. Amber color, light grainy aroma with a light flavor thats nothing special, but not too offensive either. Not good, but AB can do worse than head in this direction
