| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 14, 2006 on tap at Andy’s Corner Bar. Aroma is slight hops, grains, some caramel malt. Taste is about the same. Balanced hop balance, but not assertive like the name would make you assume. Overall, not too bad, especially considering it’s made by AB. | 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Oct 22, 2006 Nice amber color, small white head that faded quickly leaving nothing behind. The aroma was lightly malty but mostly grainy and maybe some corn in there as well as a light hop showing and maybe a faint citrus side but it’s very faint. The taste is nothing special with a a slight hint of malt some graininess and a bit of corn, but mostly it has a stong acidic side in the carbonation and a slight hop showing in the end.I guess over all it’s pretty weak and has little to offer in the way of taste, but the organic thing is a nice change. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 8, 2006 Had on tap an Fremont Oktoberfest. Nice head and amberish color for a lager. Mild hoppiness, crisp flavor w. streamlined hoppiness. Clean, crisp, and more fleshed out than most lagers. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 30, 2006 Clear sparkling light amber, creamy white head. Nose was light with tones of toasted corn bread, sweet florals, and a touch of pepper. Flavor was very light with clean florals, a hint of earth, and a touch of bready sweetness Non-offensive, but hard not to be. Just not a whole lot going on here. Light bodied, soft smooth carbonation, light floral finish. It’s ok I guess for what is, but maybe they should have gone with a different name. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 19, 2008 Ab’s attempt at a decent organic beer was a little weak to me. Pours an amber body with a hoppy aroma. The first initial taste is of citrus and then it fades away from there. Weak and a tad on the watery side. a little unbalanced. tronraner (1939), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 27, 2006 Bottle. Pours clear brass color with small whitish head. The aroma is much like a haystack, with a few strange spicy hints. The flavor also is hay-like, with some grassy hop bitterness in there, too. The finish is cotton-candy like sweetness and a bit of corn. More flavorful than I was expecting, but still not all that good. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 8, 2006 Pale bronze with a large and rapidly diminishing head, bad lacing. Aroma is cereal grains and if the air blows just right I get a hint of PNW hops.. Cascade maybe? Watery mouthfeel with a very light body. Overall very bland and boring.
