3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light amber color, high carbonation, slightly sweet carmel malt flavor, very lightly hopped with more aromatic hoppiness than bitterness. Perhaps slightly too on the sweet side.
The store I purchased this in had just received this order today. I also did not know they were an A-B brewery, until I checked online.
I am a big fan of local produce, wine, and beer, which there is a plethora of in N. California. I generally try to avoid purchasing from a large conglomerate such as A-B.
That said, it is a quite easy drinking beer in my opinion. And, apparently they do use locally grown ingredients. Therefore I must rate it fairly based on taste (fairly decent) and really donít hold it against them that theyíre an A-B owned brewery since it uses local ingredients (hopefully sustainably grown).

12 oz. bottle. I didnít realize until I went to record my rating that this is an AB product, and I am glad for that. Pours a clear gold with a moderate white head that lasted until about mid-glass and left some spotty lacing. Some light floral hops aroma in the nose. The flavor is light malt with light hops bitterness at the finish. I honestly enjoyed this beer and I think this beerís ratings suffer from its association with AB.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Honey body with a lasting thick film of bubbles. Nose-very cardboard with a touch of spice. Weird dry sweetness, leans to the fruity side, apple, very light cardboard. Does not taste "fresh" to me, but it isnít bad. A big step up for AB. One of the best in the AB stable, for sure. Has the fruity esters of an ale, but it claims to be a lager. Odd. If I were blindly tasting this, Iíd say it was an ale.

This is a fun brew, not really hoppy. Pours a copper, yellow. Great head. Nice initial flavor with good mouth feel and a solid creamy finish. Nice balance of hops and malts in the aromas. Great for the $6.99 price as an organic alternative. Highly recommended.

Clear light copper color with two inches of soft creamy off-white foam. Good head retention, spotty lace. Lightly citrus hop bitterness in the aroma.
Mellow beer, with the tanginess of the hops overshadowing any other flavor. I taste citrus and herbal hops, with a hint of a lemon candy sweetness. It is smooth and clean, the hops taste exceptionally fresh. Body on the light side of medium. Zesty carbonation.

A simple but not spectacular taste. Color is nice, and it is very smooth with just a little bitterness. Not a great beer, but OK for a party or when youíre not in the mood for a seriously flavorful beer.

(Bottle from <A HREF=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/maine/augusta/l target=blank>Louís Beverage Barn) This is really not bad...Pours clear light yellowish amber with a fairly tall biege head. Surprisingly fairly rich aroma of caramel, vanilla and light citrus and pine. Mouthfeel is fairly smooth but without much texture, lightly prickly. Some spotty, weepy lacing. Flavor is a nice balance of malt and hops - a good dose of caramel, vanilla, egg and bread, even a very light bit of smokiness, along with a lightly piney bitter hit on back end. Seems like a Vienna more than anything and not a bad one at that - it does have a bit of mass-produced "slickness" to it which is probably the worst thing about it.

I didnít know this beer had any relationship to A-B brewing. For a lager this is quite good. If Bud tasted like this I would drink it more often. Nice hop and malt balance. Two finger head, amber color. Truly not in Sam Adams category but getting there. Very sessionable brew. Recommended. Good transition beer. If A-B helped create this beer kudos to them. All is not lost!

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange colored body. The mild aroma was floral malty and spicy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The balanced flavor contained notes of malt hops and orange peel. An OK brew just nothing special.
