RunDWP (104), San Jose, California, USA Mar 9, 2008 Reddish-orange color with quickly dissipating head. Grassy, hoppy aroma. Pretty grassy, slightly herbal, and hoppy taste. Pretty high level of carbonation. Goes down pretty harshly for a lager. Surprised to see Anheuser-Busch behind an organic beer, but then, perhaps that’s why it seems to misfire. I think of lagers as easy drinking beers that go well with spicy or light food, and I don’t think this would work well that way.
brokephibroke (15), , Colorado, USA Jul 8, 2008 Orange gold pour with a loose white noisy head. Weak malt nose. Easy drinking simple lager, nothing redeeming at all. dlihcsnatas (35), Texas, USA Jun 14, 2008 Nice gold color with a citris aroma. The taste is that of malt with a fruitish style hop that gives a nice balance. Can’t say it is because of organic ingredients or just a good brew master but this one is better than your typical domestic lager. carl4beer (220), Fairfax Station, Virginia, USA May 19, 2008 12 oz. pours clear and deep golden with a nice head. aroma is slight of banana bread. mouthful has got a decent malt body with some zippy carbonation. i would just like to know why AB is nowhere to be seen on the label... they sneak around in the micro brew shelves... phishpond417 (1110), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 19, 2008 Ab’s attempt at a decent organic beer was a little weak to me. Pours an amber body with a hoppy aroma. The first initial taste is of citrus and then it fades away from there. Weak and a tad on the watery side. a little unbalanced. lucke13 (90), Des Moines, Iowa, USA May 6, 2008 Pours amber with white head. Smells of citrus and grass. Taste is light sweet roasted malt with a touch of hop bitterness and a lingering sweetness on the tounge well into the aftertaste. Medium body.
