2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Mungo (2472) - Southampton, - NOV 17, 2005
Plastic jug from Farm Shop nr Clyst St Mary. Light fruity aromas. Lack of flavour cant hide slight acetic notes. Sharp (not in the best possible way) with more carbonation than would be expected. Still noticeably a traditional cider just not a great one.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 FatPhil (6210) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JAN 25, 2009
Bag (Gallows Bird, Espoo, Real Ale Festival 2009) - as Farmhouse Vintage Cider 8.3%, not sure if it’s an exact match.
Day 0: Deep orange. Massive aroma - sweet and sour - fucking divine! Sharp but phenolic and estery in the mouth - astounding. Finish is tinglingly crisp and sour. Everything you could hope for in a cider. If made properly dry, this could be astounding.
Day 2: Identical - hooray for bag storage!
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, GERMANY - SEP 1, 2008
2.5l container, freshly filled, straight from the barrel. Golden colour, sour-fruity nose. Apple, intensive sourness that reminds me of Flemish Sour Ales/Rodenbach.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 chriso (7065) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 17, 2006
From the barrel at Oakdale Arms Beer Festival, April 2006. Hazy straw colour. Probably more medium dry but there’s lots of robust, furry, teeth coating tannin that makes it seem dryer. Low on farmyard funk, but high on juicy fruit that provides a nice counterpoint to the tannin.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 duff (5483) - St, Margarets, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2006
Barrel@The Oakdale Arms, North London. Medium dry to dry. Appley acidity, and quite sharp, yet quite quaffable. Very satisfactory, quite nice.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 tiggmtl (4475) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 23, 2005
Lightly farmy, sweet, apple aroma. Hazy golden colour with a slight ring of head but fairly still all the same. Spicy cinammon, apple flavour with a somewhat lactic character that builds. Medium body fills the mouth and lightly coats the teeth. On tap at the Fountainhead in Branscombe, Devon.
