A haughty black ipa with a bit of pent-up attitude for those "special" days. Our addicting little black IPA using Belgian dark malts and dry-hopped for intense aroma. 7.6% ABV and 85 IBU’s. Release some bottled-up Anger and learn to enjoy life a little.

Draft at Box Bar. Pours a pitch black color with a thick off white head that lingers. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, pine, and citrus. Taste is very smooth and delicious. Roasty with a solid bitterness, nice amount of pine and citrus hops, and a thick body. Long roasted malt and hoppy finish. Really good black ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pure black pour with brown head that quickly disappeared. Spicy malty scent. Full bodied roasted flavor, more malt than hops. Very dry finish, a bit sour.

Pours a thin dark black with beige head. Nose and taste are of smokey malts, and a very nice mix of hops. Very well balanced and a nice example of the style.

On tap at Greenbush Brewpub. Dark brown with ruby lowlights and thin off-white head. Aroma of cat pee, pine, resin, caramel and roasted malts. Taste is resinous with high alpha hops, lightly roasted malt, bubble gum, citrus and finishes up moderately bitter. Nice effort, I enjoyed this one!

On tsp at the Haymarket Greenbush event. Pours near black with a brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a decent amount of dank pine hops with some underlying roasted malts. Flavor has pine up front with some growing roasted malts and dark grains.

Draft sample. Poured black color with an average frothy light brown head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate toasted chocolate malt and complex hop aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Moderate to heavy toasted bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium duration. Very good brew.
