A haughty black ipa with a bit of pent-up attitude for those "special" days. Our addicting little black IPA using Belgian dark malts and dry-hopped for intense aroma. 7.6% ABV and 85 IBU’s. Release some bottled-up Anger and learn to enjoy life a little.

A very dark beer reminds me of a cup of black coffee. pours a huge brown head that sticks well and leaves nice lacing. You get strong aromas of coffee, spice, chocolate and some hops. on the palate you get that bitter coffee taste with a little sweet dark chocolate along with some malt and hop notes. Overall I enjoyed it very much and I will buy it again. great beer for under $10 a six pack. A definite must try for fans of this type of brew.

From a bottle. The pour is a dark brown with a frothy brown head,I taste a roasty cereal malt with a floral hop taste. It’s not super roasty and the body is slick yet light.

A strong black IPA, from my favorite brewery. Flavorful and toasty without being too boozy or abrasive. Highly drinkable and lighter on the charred character prevalent in this style. One of my go-to sixers.

Pours a super dark brown with just a hint of light getting through at the edges. Tons of roasted malt and milk chocolate up front on the nose, toasty, a bit of citrusy hoppiness, and a nice vanilla note. Lots of chocolate and a hint of coffee on the taste, toasted malt, earthy and citrusy bitterness, and some caramel. Quite tasty, but it seems a lot more like a stout than a black IPA.

Bottle from trade with Cbuk1013. Brown pour with tan head. Aroma is earthy - grass, dirt. Taste is hoppy - bitter, bright notes of pine with some malt backbone.

Draft. Amazing BIPA aroma, fruity pepples (cascade, centennial), strong smoke. Taste is real strong smoke, bacon, leather. Well done, malt taste a bit over cooked.

Solid black IPA with smooth maltiness and lots of bitter hops. Finishes very dry with a peppery bitterness. Flavors of dark malts, bread, agave nectar, lemon, and black pepper. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Opaque black poor with medium khaki head. Aroma is heavy hop and citrus. Just the right amount of hoppy citrus and malt notes in the taste. This is hands down one of the best Black IPAs i’ve had. Excellent.

Excellent black IPa, from Champane’s. Black bodied, smooth, juicy more than roasty. A gem worth seeking out.

12 oz bottle. The pour is a brilliant dark brown/black that you can't see through. There is a nice light khaki colored head that fades down to a nice film, leaving some nice lace as it goes. The aroma is quite hoppy and citrusy for a dark beer, which is just lovely. There is a light roasted malt character on the very end. The flavor shows a little roast on the front and then fades through a great hoppiness. There isn't lovely lingering aftertaste and the mouth feel is just right for a nice DIPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
