3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Orange mahogany with an ample tan head. Unsurprising strong floral, honey notes, tangerine. Fairly bitter, though quickly overwhelmed by cloying sweetness. Transitions to a more typical biscuity malt finish, though the initial sweetness still persists throughout. Very oily, medium body. Quite upfront alcohol. Not much carbonation. Not particularly well balanced, though not without some interesting flavors.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A full light tan head on a dense copper/orange body. Nose features citrus hops, alcohol and malt. This is a nice mix of hops and biscuity malt. The hops morph through a wide range of tastes, including citrus, citrus rind, floral, and a heavier earthier hops finish. The honey and sweet malts balance off the hops well. The medium to thick body and 10.1% abv make this DIPA a real east-coast style meal.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle. Appearance is amber color with medium, off-white head. Aroma is heavy on the fruity hops with lots of citrus, orange, and floral. Taste is sweet for a DIPA particularly on the front end--notes of sweet orange, sugar, and grapefruit. Bitterness becomes more prevalent as the taste evolvles. Although it is tempered by the honey, the alcohol is still very noticeable giving it an astringent quality. Palate is medium-bodied, slick texture, average carbonation, and a dry finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Deep copper orange with a huge offwhite head and lots of lacing. Aroma is citrus, pine, and a hint of honey. Medium body and carbonation with a sticky mouthfeel. Sweeter than some DIPAs but I think that along with the alcohol warmth nicely balance out the hops. Nice beer overall.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very smooth IIPA with very little hint of high alcohol level. The honey hides bitterness until late in the taste. There is very little hop aroma detected- mostly sweet but pleasant.

From the bottle it has a golden amber color with a good size head. Nice aroma with fruit up front and a touch of malt. Taste is kind of backwards for and IPA. More malt up front then some fruit on the backend. Mild bitternes with a good finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12-oz. Thanks, T! Pours a bright orange, clear, with a thin loose light tan head. Big sticky sweet nose, lots of oily hops and sugars, almost tickles the nose holes. Thinnish body, prickly carb. Boozy twang, sweet, with pithy grapefruit rind hop oil presence. Lots of powerful notes here, not really working together. More competing for attention.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, came in 4pk. Aroma of...oh hell. Itís a double IPA. Itís like several dozen other imperial IPAs / double IPAs that are floating around out there. Itís pretty good. Maybe sweeter than most and a bit heavy. High abv, so watch out. I donít think Iíll buy again so long as itís more expensive than many similar or better beers.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle via Mystery Box BIF. Pours a translucent, burnt orange with some lacing, thin white head. Nose is very old school DIPA, big pithy orange, grapefruit, gobs of fresh pine sap, soap. Flavor has the honey sweetness, a bit boozy actually, orange grapefruit, loads of pine, soap, some candy, a little artificial lemon. Full bodied, sticky finish. A little heat from the alcohol too.
