(bottle - 12 oz) Clear orange pour with a thin white head. Floral and peppery hop aroma with some sweetness. Flavor is very floral and slightly sweet. Very smooth without a cloying bitter aftertaste. [9/11/15]

Nice medium style hop beer that isn’t overwhelmed with hops. Good selectoon if you’re looking for a hoppy but not too much beer.

Bottle from brewery via my good wife. Pours a rich reddish color with moderate head. Nose is mild hops with a smooth, rich initial taste. Tasty.

This draft brew from a beer festival poured a head of foamy white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a very softly carbonated transparent yellow orange colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The nice aroma was musty and malt hop. The sharp crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a bitter hoppy aftertaste. The strong flavor contained notes of bitter mildly vinous and hops. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Aroma is dominated by the Apollo hops. They mostly add a general bitterness with just a hint of citrus. There is also a a slight rustic flavor from somewhere. Not much malt, though a pleasing mild sweetness. Color is a pretty copper/amber with a small off-white head. Taste is a mild to moderate sweetness and a moderate bitterness. Medium body; slightly slick texture; average carbonation; moderate to long bitter finish. Overall comes across as a fairly pleasant IPA to me rather than a Pale Ale.

At Red Lion. Sad to see this get a low rating. Sure it isn’t a hop explosion but it is rather good. Easy drinking but still with a lot of flavor. Serving: Bottle

bottle, shared with Parksy. Hazy orange gold, very lively off white head. Soapy/powdery hop character, sweet caramel malts, bitter finish. Just ok.

12 oz bottle. Appearance is clear amber color with medium, off-white head. Aroma is citrus, lots of floral and some spice. Taste is well balanced with even bitter and sweetness--notes of citrus, toast, and floral. Palate is medium-bodied, very smooth texture, and a dry finish. One of the better APAs out there.

Pine forward, with citrus hops, caramel, apples and light toasted grains. Overall somewhat mild but nice flavors. Moderate hop bitterness. Carbonation and body fit nicely.

I have no access to this site as I write this and the labeling gives no indication of what type of ale this is. Fair enough. It pours an amber/orange body with some brown tones topped by a creamy eggshell head. The aroma that eventually seeps through the dense head has a caramel sweetness to it. There’s a light earthiness and slight traces of zest, too. The flavor has the addition of toffee and a soft fruitiness, ending on a mildly bitter note. Not bad.
