4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle to glass. How do you know which hop variety each bottle is?; I made my best guess based on GB’s website. Aroma is strong: soft flower, almost lavender. Big, beautiful, fluffy head. Floral, but very reserved flavor. Sweet in a way I have not experienced, but very much enjoy. I’ve had many on tap but this is my first GB bottle; man is it good to be able to bring this home!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle picked up at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy, copper colored body with a thin, creamy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is citrusy with faded grass, herbal notes, some resins, and florals with a somewhat sweet, bready, crystal malt backing. Flavor is similar. Bitter citruses with some resins, a bunch of florals, and grass alongside a medium sweet, crystal and caramel, somewhat bready malt backing. Finishes dry and bitter, but pretty well balanced with the crystal malts. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent APA that is pretty bitter and fairly citrusy, but balanced enough with a somewhat sweet, crystal and bready malt backing.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate resin hop and soft malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate smooth bittersweet flavor with a moderate bitterswwet finish of medium duration. This a good brew.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours an orange with a fizzy white head. Nose and taste a fairly one dimensional. If you love this hop variety you will love this beer, if not, them it’ll just be good. This beer is all about the Apollo hop.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
4 oz pour on tap at the Greenbush Takeover Event at Haymarket (Chicago, IL). Pours a rich well hazed, offering a firm offwhite well hazed head. Decent lacing, some firm orange and amber glow with rich haze. Aromas are some mellow dry earthy hops, gentle grass, florals, touches of mellow lemon. Dry and earthy, lemons. Initial is medium bodied, a touch lighter offering a firm lemony and citrusy hopping up front, mellow as it trails off with some crisp pale malts, just a dab of sticky biscuits and faint toffee. Middle and bacfgkend starts to bitter this mother back up, lemons and dry florals come on stronger, drying up the palate. Backend offers a touch of lemon, mellow bready sweetness, some touches odf dryness. Solid Pale, a touch sweet and vague as far as character. Ok.
