BlowOffTube (457) - Michigan, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Didn’t know what to expect since the bottle says ale. Pours murky brown with a foamy off white head. Smells like candied sugar a very floral. Taste is sweet, caramel, in thd beginning but then hops that taste like you ate a dandelion. Good mouth feel though. Big malt bill. Overall not to good.

Hophaze (172) - South Bend, Indiana, USA - JUN 10, 2013
Bottle. Pours a copperish color with medium head and lacing. Aroma of lemon and citrus and the hops linger after 1st drink (could be a turn off for some, but I like). Good beer ----Hophaze out

12oz bottle 6/8/13 (Binny’s Downers Grove Mix a Six)-40° in Shake-Pours a hazy amberish brown with a tight off white head. Aroma of hops and citrus. Taste of hops, citrus, and malt. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and quite tasty. Nice brew.

Tastes a little too pils-ish for me, and seriously lacking in hops. Not terrible, but wouldn’t buy it again.

There are about 7 versions of this beer on here. The bottle doesnt specify. So im going with the one with the most ratings. It also doesnt say what kind of beer it was. Just ale. Well that does me no good. Very floral, bitter. Didnt get much hops. I guessed ESB. Well we have it as american pale. Well by that standard it doesnt impress.

Bottle didnt tell me which variety. Big problem on the brewery’s part. So I’m guessing a bit. Pours beautiful color. Smells of flower, springlike. Tastes floral, but not bitter. Well balanced. Great summer beer.

BeerandBlues2 (9597) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - APR 28, 2013
Bottle received via trade with FlandersNed. Pours clear dark amber with a medium, creamy off-white head, medium retention with spotty lacing. Aroma is earthy, herbal, and light resin hops with apricot and peach fruity esters and biscuit malt. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness with light fruity esters, supporting dry malt and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

BigBeer45 (1248) - Michigan, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Bottle sampled in a large tulip, this ale had a clear dark copper-red pour and made about a two finger faint off-white head that recedes to a cover and sticky ring, there was a small slow trickling center stream with a few bubbles elsewhere in the glass, it left nice rings and spots of lacing on the glass, the bottom of the bottle had a thin film of dark sediment, this ale had aromas of toasted malt, caramel, light citrus and orange hops, earthy, light bruised apple fruit, and a little malt sweetness, it had flavors of toasted malt, caramel, citrus and flower like hops, and light fruit, this ale was sweeter on the mouth than on the nose, but the finish had a nice hop bitterness that dried the palate some, the hop bitterness lingered a bit, nice balance of malt and hops, the mouth feel was light with average to lively carbonation, and it had a bit of creaminess, a nice drink, this is the second Greenbush ale sampled and I have enjoyed both.

superspak (2562) - Michigan, USA - MAR 23, 2013
12 ounce bottle into pint glass; no bottle dating, but a recent release. Pours hazy orange amber color with a small dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of peach, pear, orange peel, apple, floral, honey, caramel, bread, herbal, and floral earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of hop and malt notes. Taste of peach, pear, orange, apple, honey, toast, bread, floral, caramel, herbal, light pine, and floral earthiness. Slight floral bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of light fruit, orange, toast, bread, floral, herbal, honey, caramel, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and good complexity of hop and malt flavors; with a pretty big malt backbone for a pale ale; and no cloying sweetness present after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied; with a creamy and smooth mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a good pale ale. Good balance and complexity of flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Pailhead (4770) - Brownstown, Michigan, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Bottle: The aroma consists of caramel, toffee, citrus/lemon, lavender, and a hint of dust. It pours a mostly transparent amber with a creamy three finger orange-tinged off-white head that has excellent retention. There’s is some thick webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of caramel and light fruit. The finish has moderate lemon/orange, light-moderate grapefruit, and light lavender. It’s light-medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel.
