The distorter porter pours black with a tan brown head that leaves fair lacing. The aroma is mostly chocolate with some milk. The flavor is also chocolate and milk but the chocolate does not dominate the milk as much. Overall this is a tasty brew. Greenbush is doing good things.

Bottle. Dark brown color..medium brown head. Coffee and malt aroma with a little hop too. Taste is unique for porter. Hops are much more prevalent than expected. Still some roasted coffee, malt and chocolate flavor. Certainly an interesting beer.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and shaker served with a black/brown hue, a nice layer of lasting, frothy, brownish tan head foam, and clingy spots & streaks of lacing. The nose was roasty, baker’s chocolate, soft malt & graininess, a floral hint?, and light caramel. The flavor presented lingering, medium hop bitterness, earthiness, and some woody/burnt/smokiness that gradually combined on the palate to produce a distracting sharpness and bite. Moderate carbonation, medium+ body, and quite dry on the finish. Took awhile to finish.

12oz bottle pours a dark brown/black with a medium tan head. Aroma of chocolate, molasses, slight coffee roast and oats. Hops and barley really stand out above chocolate, molasses, and licorice. Pretty nice!
