COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A stout-ish porter with a touch of porter-ish stout. Accepting the fact that we live in confusing times, Greenbush offers up itís own "ball of confusion," with Distorter - a robust porter blurring the lines between a porter and a stout. Have a bottle or get therapy.

Grain: Maris Otter, Crystal 60L, British Chocolate, Black Malt, Roasted Barley Hops: East Kent Goldings, Willamette, Cascade Yeast: British-style Ale yeast

This draft brew from a beer bar poured a small sizes head of mostly diminishing fine to medium sized light brown colored bubbles that left behind an opaque dark black brown colored body with no visible carbonation. The aroma was very mild with soft malty notes. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and finish with a lingering coffee aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of coffee, dark malts, roasted malts and mild hops. A very good beer to start my weekend with.

10/4/14. Sampled at Billís Oktoberfest party, I believe. Black pour with a small tan head, mild lacing. Roasted malts on the aroma, ashiness, coffee, dark chocolate, caramel. Malts popping in the flavor as well, coffee, chocolate cookies, caramel, ash and roast. Not bad.
