Very solid beer, it has the burnt toasty/coffee flavors that are found in both porters and stouts so I guess thatís how it "confuses" you. Either way itís a good porter or a good stout, or just a good beer if you want to keep it simple.

Iím being generous with this one...Number one first and foremost..I taste tobacco. It sincerely reminds me of my days/years as a smoker. I do like it...unfortunately, I probably wonít drink it again. I am/would be very tempted to light one up to enjoy this brew.

Rated on 7-25-2015 at 800 Degree Three Fires, Fort Wayne, IN. This draft beer is served with a small tan head that mostly diminished, opaque dark brown body and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor mimics the aroma along with light bitterness. The mouthfeel of this beer is light carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. A good beer with a good flavor and worth trying.

Aroma of roasted coffee and chocolate. Black in color with a little tan head with nice little lacing.Taste like a coffee Porter and a chocolate Stout? No alcohol present on the taste. A very tasty stouter (aka Stout/Porter)

Pour black with a nice head. The first taste hits you with roasted malt and chocolate. It had the malt of a porter, buy it is not to sweet.

This draft brew from a beer bar poured a small sizes head of mostly diminishing fine to medium sized light brown colored bubbles that left behind an opaque dark black brown colored body with no visible carbonation. The aroma was very mild with soft malty notes. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and finish with a lingering coffee aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of coffee, dark malts, roasted malts and mild hops. A very good beer to start my weekend with.
