3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Deep gold in color, clear - leaving the yeast settiment behind, with a lingering white head and a touch of lacing. A big stone fruit aroma - lots of apricot, with a touch of citrus and spice. Medium-bodied, lightly carbonated, with a lasting finish. Lot’s of malt, combined with hop (apricot) flavor, and touch of alcohol warmth at the end. Soft bitterness to balance. Very fruity, could almost be mistaken for an apriocot IPA!

Bottle. Nice hoppy arome. Strange pour, like an old apple cider. Cloudy. Interesting taste, hoppy but cidery. Wood and dried fruit. Very mild palate. Tastes milder than the ABV. Better than its rep, but I wish its palate/flavor matched its strength.

Bottle pour to pint. Hazy, dark gold. When rating most IPAs I usually find myself using the word citrus somewhere. Not with this beer. There is no citrus. It has a bold malt/caramel/biscuity taste with a bitter finish.

From 12 oz. bottle. Little aroma. Medium body. Lingering hop bitterness, but limited hops in body.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had it at Greenbush brewery in Sawyer indiana. Orange cloudy appearance, floral aroma, and a slight head that lasts. A very smooth tasting IPA, very hoppy, but not overbearing. Recommended!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: NOV 2, 2012 12oz bottle picked up at the brewpub. Pours a hazed, amber-gold colored body with a finger-width, frothy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is lemony florals with a bready and biscuity, medium-sweet caramel malt backing. Some grassy notes and a few more citruses as well. Flavor is dull floral citruses up front with a medium-sweet, bready caramel malt backing. Some grass and earth towards the end as this finishes dry and moderately bitter before leaving a lengthy aftertaste. Medium, somewhat chewy body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a somewhat chewy, moderately sweet caramel with a good amount of citrusy florals that taste fairly faded. Not bad, but doesn’t drink very fresh.

Bottle to taster (thanks tmoney99). Looks good; a semi-transparent burnt-orange with sticky off-white lacing. Smells solid; bitter hops. Tastes decent, but a little thin. Average (at best) on the palate. An okay IPA.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
12 ounce bottle shared in a flight glass. Light golden in color, small white head. Smells a little off -- green apple chemical aroma. Definitely not hops. Taste is ok, though. Grassy hops with some citrus essence make up most of the flavor. There’s not nearly enough malt to balance and the mouthfeel is very thin. The taste seemed watered down. I was a little let down.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft. Pours hazy with a reddish hue. Aroma is nice and light hoppy, pretty good smell. Taste is way lighter than I was expecting. Nice mild hops. Leaves a little bitterness but overall a top notch ipa.
