3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap: Deep, rich copper color with faint ruby hints; a foamy, khaki-colored head sits on top & leaves behind a little bit of lacing. Aroma contains pungent pine needles, mild herbs, ash, bitter citrus zest, & a surprisingly absent malt bill (given the deep color of the brew). Taste is harmonious with the aroma; pines, pine needles, dirty & earthy hop oils, grapefruit pith, & bitter tangerine peels attack the palate. Very, very small amount of malt sugar sweetness to balance, but this is still a very bitter brew overall. Heavy citrus zest in the finish, lingering bitter pine needles. Enjoyed this more the Dunegras & much more than Brother Benjamin, though it still doesn’t blow me away. Would like to see this in bottles.

Great beer, dry, huge hop bitterness, lots of floral and citrus notes. Super hazy and unfiltered.
